Admissions Procedures
You will receive an admission decision via email. Once you have been admitted to the University of Arizona and the College of Engineering, monitor your UA email account, log in to the NextSteps Center and do the following:
-
Sign up for mandatory Transfer Student Orientation.
-
Take any appropriate placement exams.
-
Request any final transcripts be sent to the UA.
-
Submit immunization records.
Remember, all of these steps must be completed before you can register for classes.
Transfer Pathways to UA Engineering
Use Arizona Transfer Admissions Pathways in consultation with advisers from your community college and the University of Arizona for a smooth transition to UA Engineering. Please remember that degree agreements are subject to change, and attaining transfer course credit does not necessarily guarantee admission.
Please see the University’s Arizona Course Equivalency Guide or Transfer Credit Guide for more information.
Financial Awards to Get You Started
In addition to multiple scholarships available to Engineering Wildcats, the college has invested in a suite of awards – ranging from $750 to $3,000 – to help transfer students get started. You need not apply for the Engineering Transfer Awards, described below. If you are eligible, the awards will be granted automatically before you start at Arizona. Aid applies to the general academic year – fall or spring semesters.
