da Vinci Circle
The Renaissance was a time of great awakening, of realizing the potential of science and engineering to shape the world.
Today, engineering is experiencing a similar Renaissance. Advances in microelectronics, nanotechnology, and biomedical engineering are reshaping our world.
Leonardo da Vinci would appreciate this new Renaissance and its holistic, multi-disciplinary approach. He'd also understand the desire of UA's engineering faculty and students to build a better world.
Da Vinci Circle patrons support faculty and students with unrestricted gifts and focused contributions. The College directs unrestricted gifts where they are most needed. Focused contributions are earmarked for a specific department or program.
President's Letter
Dear Friends of UA Engineering,
Leonardo da Vinci studied how things work and sought to make them better.
But he also understood that patrons often provide the catalyst for advancing knowledge and creating inventions.
Patrons play this role in our College today. Their support fuels the creative sparks that enhance research and enrich education.
The College has formed a giving society named for da Vinci to more actively engage patrons in the discovery process as they help students and faculty attain new levels of excellence.
The da Vinci Circle will offer programs, events and excursions that explore today's innovative developments in engineering and science, as well as those occurring in art, music, architecture and other disciplines.
We invite you to join and look forward to welcoming you to our circle.
