Fundamentals of Engineering and Review ExamsThe Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam also known as the Engineering in Training (EIT) exam and the Professional Engineering (PE) exam is administered by the Arizona State Board of Technical Registration in Phoenix. Engineering students are encouraged to take and succcessfully complete the FE examination during their last semester in college, or the first year after graduation. There will never be a time when you are better prepared to pass it than near graduation when studies are still fresh. Registration to take the exam:The FE exam application is available in the College Academic Affairs office in the Engineering Building, Room 200. The examination is offered in April and October each year. The notarized, typewritten application, including the $30.00 application fee, must arrive in the State Board office by the posted deadline for applications (approximately 3 months before the examination).
