Nuclear Reactor Lab

The UA established its nuclear reactor lab in 1958. In the photo a nuclear engineering student uses a length of rope to lower a nuclear fuel rod into the reactor core in preparation for an experiment.

Declare a Minor

To declare a minor, come to the Office of Academic Affairs in the Engineering Building, Room 200, and complete the declaration of a minor form.

In some cases the student may be asked to obtain a signature from the academic advisor in the department offering the minor.
