New Student Guide
After you've been admitted to the College of Engineering, you have a few more steps to take before you're ready to attend classes.
Freshmen
- sign up for a New Student Orientation Program.
- complete your personalized Freshman Online Academic Tour.
Transfers
- sign up for a New Transfer Student Orientation Program.
- complete your personalized Transfer Online Academic Tour.
- complete the College of Engineering Online Orientation.
- contact your academic advisor to schedule an advising appointment.
Students denied admission to the College of Engineering may re-apply after:
- completion of Calculus I with a grad of C or better (link: curricula specific to your degree)
- completion of 12 or more units at the UA in the engineering curricula.
---excluding Tier 1 and 2 courses, with a grade point average in those courses equivalent to at least the advanced standing grade point average for the requested major.
Students not previously denied admission to the College of Engineering
- Students may apply to the College of Engineering through the Academic Affairs Office in the Engineering Building, Room 200, or by email.
