The College of Engineering saw enrollments of 2,372 undergraduate students and 655 graduate students for the Fall of 2007.
Academic Disqualification
Students must make progress toward an engineering degree in order to continue enrollment through the college, regardless of whether or not they have signed an academic contract. If they do not make progress, they will, in all likelihood, face college disqualification. Any courses for future terms in which the student is enrolled at the time of disqualification will be dropped.
Complete withdrawal from a semester will not necessarily prevent a student's disqualification, as students are expected to make academic progress each semester. Also, if a student chooses to take course(s) outside of the engineering curriculum in order to improve his or her GPA, the student still may be disqualified from the College of Engineering.
Disqualified students may appeal their disqualification within a limited time. Please contact the College of Engineering Academic Affairs Office at 520.621.6032 to obtain an appeal form. The deadline for submitting appeals is June 1st. All decisions by the disqualification appeals committee are final.
