Again, the UA Office of Student Financial Aid administers most of the scholarships available to new incoming students at UA. That office has also compiled a comprehensive list of free scholarship searches. UA scholarships for incoming freshmen are listed here. To be considered, students must have submitted their SAT or ACT test scores as well as official high school transcripts. Scholarships: College of Engineering and Engineering DepartmentsNational Merit Scholarship and Thomas R Brown Distinguished Scholarship recipients - contact Rebecca Myren for questions regarding your awards. rmyren@email.arizona.edu The College of Engineering offers scholarships to National Merit semifinalists and finalists, National Merit Hispanic Scholars, and National Achievement semifinalists and finalists. This is in addition to the University of Arizona's scholarship package. These scholarships are awarded to new, incoming freshmen only.
How to Get a College of Engineering Scholarship The College of Engineering offers scholarships to the best student that meets the donors' specifications. This is in addition to the University of Arizona's scholarship package. Scholarships for the 2013-2014 Academic Year from the College of Engineering will be available through a common application on Scholarship Universe. The Application will be online by the end of February. Please take the time to start working on the following items to ensure your application can be completed before the Deadline date of March 25, 2013. Resume List current employment and hours worked per week. If you do not have any work experience please use your resume to describe your school activities, honors, leadership roles, and community activities. Biography Provide a 250-500 word biographical sketch which includes your educational and professional goals, why you are interested in your specific engineering major, and any adversity you have overcome to attend college.
