Academic ProgramsThe UA College of Engineering offers four-year curricula leading to bachelor of science degrees in engineering. Except for the new biomedical engineering program, all are accredited by the Accreditation Commission of ABET, Inc., the recognized accreditor of college and university programs in applied science, computing, engineering, and technology. ABET accreditation demonstrates a program’s commitment to providing its students with a quality education. The UA Engineering Biomedical Engineering program will be eligible for accreditation when it graduates its first class, circa May 2013. The UA College of Engineering also provides online distance learning opportunities for master’s degree programs, certificate programs and distance continuing education (CEU) courses.
