Formula SAE

Teams of students design, build, test and race a formula-style racecar, which is evaluated for its potential as a production vehicle in nationwide race meets.

ENGINEERING ADVISORY COUNCIL

The purpose of the Engineering Advisory Council is to advise and mentor the Dean on broad strategic issues facing the College of Engineering, its programs, and its resources. The Council provides advice by drawing upon perspectives, knowledge, and extensive experiences from working in industry, academia and political circles. The members of the Council also work on key projects that provide benefit to the College, including but not limited to:

Guest teaching and student mentoring
Large project proposals and team structuring
Mentoring of junior faculty on developing industry relations
Business development and advocacy
